Wind River Software Defined Radio Platform
The platform includes Wind River's VxWorks 6 real-time operating system with compliance to both Software Communications Architecture (SCA) 2.2.2 and POSIX PSE52 run-time libraries, combined with PrismTech's Spectra operating environment, including small form factor core framework and embedded ORB middleware.
This powerful SDR solution stack is also available with Wind River Linux and Wind River Linux Secure, with comparable performance, which enables a wide range of complementary SDR applications and hardware platforms to be deployed.
Both VxWorks and Wind River Linux SDR platforms support processors from a range of key Wind River semiconductor partners, including ARM, Freescale, Intel, and Texas Instruments.

Comprehensive Simulation, Debug, and Test Tools
Wind River Simics virtual platform allows you to simulate the entire target, even if it contains multiple boards with multiple hardware architectures running multiple real-time operating systems (RTOS). Simics virtual platforms are simulations of the entire target system and not just an individual processor, system-on-chip (SoC), or board. This gives all developers, testers, and integrators access to the entire target system so they can debug/test it as a whole instead of individual pieces of the system.
